So I went to Wal*Mart and bought some cheap Converse knock-offs for 15 bucks! And I was looking at them and I thought… these need more pony!
So I decided to customize them a little bit. The shoe on the left is a Luna/Octavia shoe, and the one on the right is Fluttershy/Big Macintosh.
These are the laces on the Fluttershy/Big Macintosh shoe. Yellow and pink for Fluttershy, red and orange for Big Macintosh. One side of the laces has stripes, one side has dots.
This is the Big Macintosh side of the shoe. It’s got his freckles by the eyelet and his cutie mark down on the heel. I used puffy fabric paint on the shoes and permanent marker on the shoelaces.
And here’s the Fluttershy side! Stylized wing by the eyelet, one of the butterflies from her cutie mark on the heel.
Here’s the Luna/Octavia laces. Purple and blue for Luna, pink and black for Octavia.
Luna side! Moon cutie mark and a star by the eyelet.
Octavia side! Treble clef cutie mark and bow tie by the eyelet.
And finally, my username on the heels!
So this was a fun project, took me about an hour to complete. I knew I wanted to do a Fluttershy/Big Macintosh shoe as soon as I picked them out, but I was conflicted about the second shoe. Finally I settled on Luna/Octavia because I liked the color combinations they had. I think they turned out pretty good for my first pair of customized shoes! Hope you guys all like them too!
Okay guys, here is my review of the insanely cool PONY PASTA. I was in England for a couple weeks for my aunt’s wedding, and I HAD to try some of this pasta.
So here’s the can it comes in. Applejack! Without a hat? And a little derped? Whatever.
…Ooookay. Flutterby? They can get Carousel Boutique right, but not Fluttershy? Interesting. Notice that it includes one of your five a day! :D
Oh boy, this looks appetizing already. Those two “Flutterby” pieces you can see? Probably the only two in the can. The amount of pieces was like 50% “Farm” 25% “Carousel Boutique” 10% “Sweetie Shop” 10% “Applejack” and 5% “Flutterby.” We’ll get to how it tasted in a second.
Okay so pretty much this tasted like FIRE. You know how a fire smells? Or fireworks? That’s how this pasta tasted. I don’t know how you UK bronies survive because your pasta “meals” over there suck. I tried some macaroni and cheese over there. It came out of a can, not a box. And it tasted kinda like… hm… vomit. Anyway, back to the pony pasta.
It’s supposed to be some kind of tomato sauce, but it tasted more like charcoal. It didn’t taste like fire in that it was hot or spicy, it just… tasted like ash. That was my strongest impression while eating it. Just looking at these pictures makes me feel sick. I finished the whole bowl and only managed to keep from throwing up by promptly going to sleep.
Pinkie Pie would probably put this pasta in the same category as baked bads. It was fun to be able to eat Applejack and “Flutterby,” but other than the novelty experience, I would not recommend this product to ANYONE. Not even the children it was probably aimed at. I paid about 67 pence for the can, choked down the ashy pasta, and now I have the can as a souvenir. It was (probably) worth it!
My advice to you bronies out there? Buy the pasta, look at it, rinse it down the drain and keep the can for fun.
And that is my Pony Product Review(tm)!
Gotta love Trollestia.
Like Twilight, I can count to books.
Okay, finally got Windows 7 reinstalled, and Lappy 1.0 is running much better now. PREPARE FOR PONIES
Okay pony fans, I’m trying to get my old lappy up and running so I can devote it almost entirely to pony-related stuff. (Don’t worry, I have a netbook that I use for most things.) Right now I’m on my sister’s laptop, and she’s sick of me filling it with ponies. So there will be more ponies posted here soon! For now…. http://equestriagirls.com/e/
